Hunting and Lodging
Cottonwood Farm’s mission is to provide an enjoyable hunt for their guests and a relaxing spot for them in the evening. Located in Osborne County in north central Kansas, there are flat plains areas and also rolling hills with good cover for the hunting experience. Some of the game that is available to hunters are pheasant, quail, prairie chicken, deer, rabbit, turkey, geese, and ducks.
Cottonwood Farm has 3,500 to 5,000 acres of private land plus numerous walk-in hunting areas that are nearby. Doug enjoys showing his hunters the land that is available for them and provides maps and directions for their convenience.
While staying at Cottonwood Farm you will be staying at the Ranch. The Ranch has three bedrooms and can sleep five plus a couch. It has a shower and satellite television and contains complete kitchen facilities – stove, refrigerator, dishes and glasses, and pots and pans. Towels and washcloths, sheets and pillowcases, and blankets for each bed are provided. The only items that hunters need to bring are their personal toiletries and food, plus their hunting equipment. Dog kennels, cleaning stations, and charcoal or gas grills are provided.
